Benedikta von Karaisl

At the root of our health is connection. Deep down, humans share the desire to connect and belong and often fear loneliness and isolation. So much of our culture focuses on advice for love, relationships, marriage, and divorce. Yet, we frequently find ourselves at a loss, struggling internally, feeling lonely even if in connection or fearing the loss of connection if we show up authentically.

Having worked with many clients through difficulties in relationships, partnerships, marriages, or through divorce, I have come to understand the importance of looking internally to find what might be in the way for us to thrive in connection.

The focus of my work is to help clients figure out their desires, struggles, and relational wounding and support them in their healing journey, creating a base for healthy connections to themselves and others.

Not being in connection with our authentic self and others can lead to many symptoms, including anxiety and depression, and can have trauma at its core. I intend to support you in alleviating symptoms and addressing the developmental trauma that might be at the root of your suffering.

My modality of choice is NARM (Neuro Affective Relational Model). I deeply appreciate the modality’s focus on the relational aspects and its long-lasting impact on my and my client’s life. In addition to my private practice, I am currently part of the training team at the NARM Institute. I received my MA in Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University.
